Burdeshaw Associates, Ltd. (BAL) was founded in 1979 to bridge a perceived gap between the defense industry and the United States Army, primarily in its equipment development process. Since its inception more than 25 years ago, the company has grown in size to 700+ executive-level Associates and a robust active corporate headquarters. BAL currently assists both domestic and international clients in a wide range of defense services. The retired senior flag officers and senior civilians from militaries throughout the world are forged into effective teams designed to provide clients with products that have insights and perspectives born of experience and wisdom.

BAL’s work has provided a competitive edge to both U.S. and non-U.S. companies seeking to fulfill a variety of government needs. In addition to its direct support of industry, BAL has also become a U.S. government MOBIS (Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services) contractor. This enables the company to work directly with the federal government in key areas in which the “workforce and budgets may be declining”.
